Tortellini are usually served in a meat or cheese-based broth or a creamy sauce. They are often served as a main dish or as a first course and are a popular ingredient in many Italian dishes, such as pasta salads and soups. The exact filling of tortellini can vary depending on regional preferences and local ingredients.
