Bartender Day is observed annually on February 24th as a celebration of bartenders, one of the world’s oldest professions. On this day, bartenders showcase their unique skills and creations. Although the role of a bartender might seem modern, the profession has a long history, dating back to the 1400s.

Cupcake Day is a celebration of the popular sweet treat. In the late 1700s, cupcakes were made using basic ingredients such as flour, sugar, eggs, and butter, and they were usually topped with a simple sugar icing in England. Cupcake Day is a day to enjoy and appreciate this beloved dessert’s delicious and creative variations.

Tortilla Chip Day is dedicated to the crispy, crunchy, tasty snack food, Tortilla Chips. Originating from Mexico, Tortilla Chips are made from corn tortillas, cut into triangle shapes and fried or baked until crispy. Today, they are a popular snack, often served with dips such as salsa, guacamole, or cheese sauce.

Trading Card Day: Trading Cards’ origins date back to the late 1800s. The first trading cards were produced as a marketing tool for cigarette and gum companies, featuring images of sports stars, celebrities, and fictional characters. These cards quickly gained popularity and became collectible items. In the 1920s and 1930s, companies started producing cards for specific sports, including baseball, football, and later adding basketball, further increasing their popularity.

Twin Peaks Day is celebrated on February 24 every year to commemorate the day in 1989 that FBI Agent Dale Cooper comes to town to investigate the death of Laura Palmer.
