Andy Warhol's Sigmund Freud

Sigmund Freud, part of the ten painting set of “Jewish Geniuses” (1980).
The official title was “Ten Portraits o f Jews of the 20th Century.”
New York Times critic Hilton Kramercalled the show “vulgar, exploitative, tawdry and an example of crass recycling.”
The whole set included  Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud, Sarah Bernhardt, Louis Brandeis, Martin Buber, George Gershwin, Franz Kafka, the Marx Brothers, Golda Meir and Gertrude Stein.

The U.S. copyright representative for Warhol film stills is the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
