Le Rêve (The Dream) by Pablo Picasso (1932) 50 year old Picasso portrayed his 22-year-old mistress Marie-Thérèse Walter. It is said to have been painted in one afternoon, on 24 January 1932. Note the male organ (probably his) on top of her head.

The Dream by Salvador Dalí

The Dream (1931) by Salvador Dalí. Sometimes called “The Sleep,” it was very influenced by Sigmund Freud. An Italian friar, Gabriele Maria Berardi, claimed to have performed an exorcism on Dalí while he was in France in 1947.
