World Childhood Cancer Day is a day to raise awareness of childhood cancer and its impact on children and their families.

National Chocolate Fondue Day: A day to celebrate and enjoy the delicious treat of chocolate fondue.

National Shower with a Friend Day was created by an anonymous individual in 2012 who wanted people to share an activity that would bring joy and pleasure to their lives. 

Wear Red Day: A day to raise awareness about women’s heart disease and encourage people to wear red to support the cause.

National Weatherman’s Day was established to honor the contributions of meteorologists and other weather professionals’ contributions to weather forecasting and the protection of life and property. The day was created in honor of John Jeffries, an American physician, and meteorologist, who made the first recorded weather observations in the United States on February 5, 1774. The day is also to pay homage to all meteorologists. 

World Nutella Day has been celebrated worldwide on February 5th every year since 2007. The day celebrates the iconic chocolate hazelnut spread, made from cocoa and hazelnuts, invented in 1964 by Pietro Ferrero. From humble beginnings to becoming one of the most beloved treats worldwide, this day is a celebration of the delicious Italian classic. For many, World Nutella Day marks an opportunity to indulge in some creamy and delicious goodness with friends and family. Whether for breakfast on toast, as a snack in between meals, or even as part of desserts, Nutella is loved by people of all ages.

1988 – Manuel Noriega was indicted on drug smuggling and money laundering charges.

1999 – Mike Tyson was sentenced to a year in jail for assaulting two people after a car accident on August 31, 1998. Tyson was also fined $5,000, had to serve 2 years of probation, and had to perform 200 hours of community service upon release.
