Le chateau des Pyrenees (The Castle of the Pyrenees) by Rene Magritte (1898-1967) Who hasn’t wished for a castle in the sky? Rene was known for challenging observers’ preconditioned perceptions of reality. The 7933 Magritte asteroid was discovered and named after him in 1989. The surrealistic piece is currently at the Israel Museum, in Jerusalem.
