Two Lane Black Top (1971)
Two men without names (played by James ‘Fire and Rain’ Taylor & Dennis ‘Beach Boys’ Wilson) spend an indeterminately long weekend challenging Warren Oates to a cross-country race with their souped up 1955 Chevy. It was the only film role for either of them. On the way, they pickup a runaway and potentially jailbait girl (Laurie Bird). Harry Dean Stanton had a short appearance as a hitchhiker.
They should have called it: Road To Nowhere.
